Character Bio - Akuma

Name/Title/Alias: Akuma Tazunebito, "The Quilled Demon", "Scourge of Minami".

Race: Bachiatari (Human infected with a Symbiotic Parasite)

Appearance: Shoulder length, spiky black hair, red eyes, and pale skin; normally wearing multiple layers of warm clothing. While fighting, he usually relies on the power of his curse mark which coats his skin with a shiny black substance.

Attitude: Highly aggressive and short tempered, Akuma is well known across the Southern continent, Minami, and the South-East continent, Tounan, for his fierce fighting style and devilish powers. He can be very noble at some points however, and has vowed to never kill a woman or child unless it's absolutely necessary. He never speaks ill of the other Tazunebito clan members, and usually attacks anyone who does.

Notable Traits: Being a Bachiatari, Akuma is the host of a symbiotic parasite, otherwise known as the "Curse Mark". As with all Bachiatari, the curse mark is located at the base of Akuma's neck and looks like a shiny black circle. When using it in combat however, the dark substance spreads over different parts of his body. Akuma's curse mark allows him to grow razor sharp spines from the mark-covered area, which can also be shot from his body as projectiles; a trait that is unique among other Bachiatari of his type. Another unique trait is that Akuma's symbiote can spread over surfaces other than his own body, which can prove very useful in combat. Any part of the parasite that is separated for too long however, crumbles away into nothingness unless it manages to infect another host.

Fighting Style: Boutoku Kenpo – A fighting style that is common among Bachiatari Clans; it utilizes the enhanced physical strength and speed of the user, as well as their curse mark's special trait. Because the parasite rarely offers the same trait to multiple Bachiatari, the fighting style differs greatly between each user.
